KDS Launches Travel & Expense Survey For ‘KDS Now! 2011’

Aviation - 11th January 2011

London, January 11, 2011 – KDS, the leading European supplier of integrated travel and expense (T&E) management systems, is today launching the company’s ‘KDS Now! 2011’ global T&E survey.

The survey is being distributed to business travellers, bookers and financial directors across the world, analysing how organisations are coping with the complexities of modern T&E management, from the smallest procedural details through to return on investment (ROI).

Results from the survey will inform the forthcoming ‘KDS Now! 2011’ event at the Etoile Saint Honoré in Paris on February 2, hosted by leading travel journalist and broadcaster Simon Calder.

Yves Weisselberger, chief executive officer of KDS, says: “Earlier KDS surveys have revealed that, in many companies, ineffective T&E policy and practice is like a black hole in financial management, pulling in vital resources not only at a corporate level but also for individual employees.

“The ‘KDS Now! 2011’ T&E survey is our latest health check on expense management. This fresh data will be invaluable for anyone with an interest in optimising ROI in this key sector of financial planning, which represents up to 8% of a company’s annual turnover.”

Previous KDS surveys have revealed that inefficiencies in T&E management are not only holding many companies back as they seek to climb out of the global recession but also leading individual employees to effectively subsidise their business travel. As chief financial officers around the world battle to meet the demands of a challenging economic climate, the survey offers an invaluable opportunity to generate feedback leading to ideas and solutions.
