Ionian Weddings appoints 8020 Communications

We’re really thrilled to have been appointed by Ionian Weddings, to promote the company’s range of destination weddings.

Established in 2007 by husband-and-wife team Andreas Palikiras and Jane Stuart-Palikira, Ionian Weddings organises over 250 weddings a year – including all legalities – to venues that have all been personally vetted in destinations such as Italy, Santorini, Crete, Cyprus, Portugal and Croatia. The ABTA-bonded multi-award-winning company has arranged more than 4,000 weddings overseas since it launched and was voted ‘Best Weddings & Honeymoons Operator’ at the British Travel Awards in November 2023.

Aimed primarily at 25–35-year-old couples who want a truly memorable wedding outside of the UK, 8020’s campaign will build awareness of the company’s luxury wedding expertise, from its team of highly experienced UK-based wedding planners, each with over 15 years’ experience, to new destinations and stunning wedding locations including a vineyard in Tuscany and a century-old stone windmill in Santorini.
