Cessna Delivers Three Citation Sovereigns to China’s Flight Inspection Center

WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 5, 2011 — Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is celebrating the delivery of three Citation Sovereign business jets to the Flight Inspection Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

The Flight Inspection Center of the CAAC is responsible for inspecting navigation, radar, communication and navaids systems as well as flight procedures in all civil airports and airways on the Chinese mainland and in Hong Kong and Macau.

The Citation Sovereigns will be used for the calibration of navaid systems serving China’s rapidly growing network of airports. The aircraft have been certified to operate from airports of up to 15,000ft altitude and with required navigation performance accuracy of RNP .3.

The Flight Inspection Center of the CAAC is a long-established Cessna customer, having previously purchased 11 Citations, including Citation VI, Citation X and Citation XLS aircraft.

Cessna is also pleased to announce a further sales success in China, with the delivery of a CJ3 business jet to an unnamed customer in Hong Kong.
