London City Airport appoints 8020 Communications

London, UK: Aviation, travel and transport specialist consultancy 8020 Communications has been appointed by London City Airport as its retained agency with a global brief.

8020 Communications will drive international awareness of London City Airport in the consumer and trade media, as well as supporting the airport’s social media and video teams. 8020 will also provide crisis communications, c-suite media training and event strategy services.

Since its founding in 1987, London City Airport has been a catalyst of change in east London and innovation remains central to its identity. As a growing airport serving London, Kent and Essex catchment areas, 8020 will steer the airport’s prominence and reputation to support increased passenger capacity, anticipated new aircraft operations and investor objectives.
