LONDON, UK – DECEMBER 14. 2014: Easy Jet flying

8020 Communications has been appointed by leading intelligent maintenance planning solution, Aerogility, to provide aviation PR support to tell the company’s story to the trade media for the first time.

Powered by smart multi-agent technology – a software technology originating from AI research –  Aerogility plays out what-if and planning scenarios by simulating the operation of any aircraft fleet over any period. It generates predictive analytics and plans to help fleet managers to optimise their maintenance & engineering programmes and increase the number of aircraft they have available.

Gary Vickers, CEO of Aerogility comments:  “As an early-stage company in the aviation industry, promoting ourselves to the right people is key. 8020’s proven experience and success in the market has allowed us to get in front of fleet planners, finance managers, defence strategic planners and more. Since working with 8020, we have seen an increase of almost 250% in traffic to our website, which is making a huge difference to our business.”

The PR campaign started with the news of Aerogility’s deployment by leading European airline, easyJet. Using the Aerogility platform, easyJet is now able to simulate flying its fleet over future years and the operation of its maintenance and engineering organisation, predicting when maintenance events should occur.  Aerogility automatically generates optimised schedules that the easyJet planners can analyse and edit to maximise the number of aircraft flying and the number of seats available for customers.
