8020 to promote Etihad Airways

In the airline world, Etihad Airways is one of the biggest names, widely admired for its pioneering approach to quality and service. We are therefore hugely proud that 8020 Communications has been appointed as the airline’s retained PR agency for the UK and Ireland, tasked with bringing the Etihad story to leisure and corporate customers.

Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is known to many as the title sponsor of Manchester City Football Club. The airline flies from London Heathrow, Manchester and Dublin non-stop to Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE and home to the airline’s hub airport. From Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways connects passengers to popular destinations throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, with its world-class fleet and award-winning service.

The themes of sustainability and innovation will be at the heart of our work, as part of a global transformation programme taking place across the airline. Working with Etihad Airways teams in Abu Dhabi and London, we’ll be helping to build demand for the airline’s outstanding passenger experience and route network. We’ll be promoting Abu Dhabi’s rich history, cultural scene and attractiveness as a stopover gateway to other destinations, as well as forthcoming UAE events such as Expo 2020 and the opening of the new Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal. It’s going to be an exciting ride!
