London, England, 2 May 2013 – London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, has further diversified its fleet with the addition of its first Falcon 2000LX from French manufacturer Dassault. The brand new aircraft, tail number G-WWFC, will be based at London Luton Airport and takes the total number of aircraft on LEA’s air operator’s certificate to 28.

The Dassault Falcon 2000LX is configured to carry up to 10 passengers and is fully available for charter. With a range of 4,000 nautical miles, it allows for non-stop connectivity from London to destinations such as New York and Dubai.

Thanks to its technologically advanced autobrake system, the twinjet aircraft is specially designed to deliver optimal performance from shorter runways. The cabin includes a state-of-the-art entertainment system featuring two DVD players with stored media and a 3D airshow feature, four personal widescreen units, a forward cabin monitor and a connection port for iPhones, iPads and iPods. Using the remote Apple app, passengers can use their Apple products to control the entertainment system as well as the cabin lighting.

George Galanopoulos, managing director, LEA says: “We are extremely pleased to have expanded our fleet with this Dassault Falcon 2000LX, 20 years since the original Falcon 2000 took to the skies. As well as its long range and top cruising speed of 540mph, this aircraft is one of the most fuel-efficient, spacious and comfortable jets in its class.”

LEA chief executive Patrick Margetson-Rushmore adds: “This is the fourth business jet we have taken delivery of so far this year and our first Dassault Falcon 2000LX builds on the variety of aircraft types in the LEA fleet, ensuring we have an aircraft to suit every private aviation need.”
