ExecuJet Europe named Wyvern Wingman Member

ExecuJet is celebrating a successful British and General Aviation Day (BGAD), which was held this week at ExecuJet’s hangar and FBO at Cambridge Airport. Over 400 brokers and trade delegates visited the airport, home to ExecuJet’s UK head office, taking in the various enhancements ExecuJet has implemented since assuming control of the London Cambridge FBO earlier this year.Attendees at the show, the largest BGAD to date, had the opportunity to view a range of executive turboprops and business jets on the FBO apron and visit the exhibition stands of aviation service providers and airports inside the hangar.

ExecuJet’s latest managed business jet, a 2010 Dassault Falcon 2000LX, was on static display during the event. The aircraft attracted considerable interest from brokers and industry professionals, who appreciated the Falcon’s distinctive matt exterior finish and luxurious interior design. The aircraft is part of ExecuJet’s 50-strong European managed fleet and is available for charter from its base in Bilund, Denmark.

John Brutnell, General Manager of ExecuJet UK, says: “BGAD was a great opportunity for ExecuJet to show charter brokers and other visitors the Falcon 2000LX. It really is a fantastic aircraft, both in terms of performance and style, and is particularly popular due to its unique appearance.”

BGAD concluded a successful summer for ExecuJet in London Cambridge, where the FBO saw a 30% increase in handlings during the Olympic Games.

ExecuJet Europe a new Wyvern Wingman member
The ExecuJet team at BGAD was also celebrating ExecuJet Europe becoming the group’s latest region to be named a Wyvern Wingman member. Recently, ExecuJet Africa, Middle East and Australasia (Australia and New Zealand) successfully completed audits to become Wyvern Wingman members or renewed their Wyvern status.

The internationally renowned Wingman programme acknowledges the regular use of Wyvern data – tools and software – which enables members to provide superior operations and services on a daily basis. In order to achieve Wyvern Wingman status, operators must undergo an on-site safety audit and meet rigorous safety standards.
