iT Governance Launches European Website With Unrivalled Stock

Ely, England, 21 February 2011IT Governance (ITG) is today launching a European website, www.itgovernance.eu, offering a unique, one-stop shop for products and services in IT governance, risk management, compliance and information security.

Alan Calder, Chief Executive of IT Governance, says: ‘For IT best practice, no other European website compares in scale and quality to this site. The initial range alone will be about 1,000 products. We won’t just be selling our own branded ITG products and ITG Publishing titles. As an official reseller, we’ll be offering titles and toolkits from all the major international IT service management publishers, from The Stationery Office and the British Standards Institution through to Van Haren Publishing and Kogan Page.

‘I can hardly begin to list the entire product range but, of course, we’ll be covering governance frameworks from the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK); risk management from information security to cloud computing; and compliance from the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to Green IT.’

These top-quality products will be available in an unprecedented range of formats, including hard-cover, e-books and PDFs, through means of distribution ranging from online subscription to multi-user access. Many titles will be available in multiple European languages.

The use of a new Benelux warehouse will help maintain ITG’s reputation for fast and cost-effective shipping.

Calder continues: ‘This new website offers every relevant product for all major IT-related frameworks from every publisher in the world in every format in which they are available – a real one-stop shop. ITG has long been established internationally, on both sides of the Atlantic, but we have never before offered a euro-denominated website specifically devoted to the needs of the European market. We’ll be expecting, and welcoming, business from private sector companies through to public sector organisations.

‘We offer proven logistical and e-commerce expertise. We have well-established distribution arrangements with every relevant book publisher and training provider. Furthermore, our customer sales and service team is renowned for helping customers find appropriate books, tools, training and consultants.’
