Aviation - 7th December 2010

Dubai, UAE, December 7, 2010London Executive Aviation (LEA) has become the first executive air charter operator in Europe to add the new Embraer Legacy 650 business jet to the company’s air operator’s certificate (AOC) and charter fleet.

The Middle East Business Aviation show (MEBA) debut of Legacy 650 G-RBNS this week follows the aircraft’s first charter flight for LEA, which brought a family from St Petersburg, Russia, to Dubai in exceptional comfort and style.

Patrick Margetson-Rushmore, LEA’s chief executive, says: “The Legacy 650 acquitted itself superbly on its first charter flight for us. Not only did the aircraft’s range cope effortlessly with the leg from Russia to Dubai, but the passengers and crew were struck by the extremely quiet and relaxing cabin conditions.

“We are delighted to be the first operator in Europe to make the Legacy 650 available for charter,” he continues. “As one of Europe’s most experienced Legacy operators, we are confident that G-RBNS will make an excellent complement to our five-aircraft Legacy 600 fleet and be an ideal choice for many longer-range missions.”

LEA is exhibiting G-RBNS at MEBA this week on the static display.
