Ely, England, 17 July, 2009 – To help companies survive the current tough trading climate, IT Governance, the one-stop shop for compliance, has decided to help firms save some precious IT budget by announcing a stream of zero-cost yet high-value webinars this summer.
The special series of education sessions, the Summer 2009 IT Governance Special Webinars, will focus on core IT security, compliance, business continuity, leadership skills and Green IT topics, with the aim of delivering vital information for the business leader in an easy-to-grasp manner. They will also save cost and the disturbance of having to take time out of the office at such a sensitive period.
All will be presented by experts in their field, each with a proven track record in innovation, and therefore uniquely qualified to discuss the strategic issues IT managers and senior information security professionals face in the midst of the ongoing recession.
For every webinar attended, delegates will be able to claim one IT Governance CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credit, making this also a career-enhancing opportunity.
All the Summer 2009 IT Governance Special Webinars are held over Voice Over IP (VOIP), and not by dial in teleconference, so attendees will require speakers or headphones to participate. Full copies of all presentation materials will be available to attendees for download post each event.
Commenting on the business value represented by the special series, Alan Calder, Chief Executive of IT Governance, noted, “Senior managers need to have visible, positive oversight of their organisation’s IT strategy and be able to understand and demonstrate that risks are managed and corporate objectives are supported and achieved.
“These webinars are designed to keep such managers bang up to date on the core IT security topics affecting their business, so that, as leaders, they can have all the relevant information to meet their compliance and business objectives and fulfil all their IT governance obligations.”
