Election Satire: MyDavidCameron.com

Miscellaneous - 27th January 2010

In the UK, the pre-General Election phoney war is already being fought in earnest. An early casualty of the communications battle is a Conservative Party poster campaign.

This seeks to sell leader David Cameron as a straight-talking man the nation can trust. Unfortunately, the posters were quickly lampooned for their apparent airbrushing of Cameron’s features. Now, MyDavidCameron, a website set up by graphic artist Clifford Singer, has become an internet sensation, inviting people to send in their own Photoshopped versions of the Conservative posters.

Whatever your politics, it’s hard not to laugh out loud at some of the contributions. Enjoy.
