LONDON, Sept. 16, 2010 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is delighted to announce that two Citation Mustangs will be on show at the sixth UK Business & General Aviation Day (BGAD10) on Tuesday September 21 this year.
The aircraft will be on static display at the influential industry event, taking place at Marshall Airport Cambridge UK. One of the Mustangs is part of the fleet of UK-based operator Ambeo, whilst the other Mustang is one of Cessna’s new ‘High Sierra’ luxury editions.
Trevor Esling, Cessna’s vice president, International Sales, says: “The Mustang’s multi-mission capabilities mean the aircraft is ideal for many roles in Europe. From training flights and charter operations through to corporate flight departments and special missions, the Mustang is an extremely versatile aircraft. We have even developed a medical transport version of the Mustang, working with Spectrum Aeromed, which we unveiled this summer. And the High Sierra Edition is a valuable addition to the range, offering our customers more luxurious interior and exterior options.”
The Mustang is the world’s first fully-certified entry-level business jet. The first Mustang was delivered in April 2007 and Cessna has now delivered over 300 of the aircraft to customers globally.
Coming in at just over $3m (2010 delivery), the Mustang features Garmin avionics and Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, and boasts a maximum 1,100-nautical mile range.
