Interesting meeting today with the BBC’s head of development Richard Hastings. A sure sign that we must be on the road to economic recovery: Auntie’s looking to commission another property show.
The intended format has a role for a resident ‘property guru’, and Ability Group chairman Andreas Panayiotou is potentially their man. Having done various TV spots in the past – most recently PropertyWatch on BBC2 – he’s now established in the BBC’s consciousness as a ‘go-to guy’ when they want someone successful and outspoken.
It’s too early to tell if this will be something we go ahead with but it could be a good opportunity.
