8020 Communications appointed by the Air Charter Association

The crucial role of air charter in Covid-19 recovery is a story we’ve been closely involved with at 8020 Communications, so we’re proud to be expanding our advocacy for the industry through our appointment by its international trade body The Air Charter Association (The ACA).

We will be focusing upon improving the understanding of air charter among policymakers, stakeholders and the public, thereby protecting the interests of the Association’s members and enabling the industry to make its full economic and strategic contribution at this crucial time.

The Air Charter Association

The Association’s global membership includes 260 broker and operator organisations – encompassing cargo, airliner and business aviation charter – in the US, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the UK. The ACA seeks to advance the sector and support its members’ interests worldwide, demonstrating the value of air charter to the global economy, as well as tackling issues such as Brexit and illegal charter.

Kevin Ducksbury, chairman, The ACA, says: “8020 Communications brings a high level of experience, insight and creativity to The ACA. Their in-depth knowledge of the air charter industry and strong relationships with the media will help us to represent our members’ interests with new audiences, which will be critical as we face the challenges posed by Covid-19. We’re looking forward to engaging with stakeholders worldwide to share insights, help shape policy and shine a light on the positive work being done by the sector to tackle this unprecedented crisis.”

At 8020, we have an exciting and ambitious brief to engage with the major issues of the day on the Association’s behalf, and we look forward to bringing understanding, investment, and the next generation of air charter professionals to this dynamic industry.
