Media Moves: International Financing Review

There have been some additions to the team at International Financing Review. Owen Wild has been appointed deputy editor and will continue to head up the magazine and website’s equity and structured equity coverage. He will also take on a wider strategic role and support the development of the P&M section, with a focus on people. Gareth Gore has been promoted to associate editor, People & Markets. Gareth will head coverage of banks and financial markets, regulation and industry moves, with a particular emphasis on bigger-picture stories and industry strategy.

Daniel Dunkley and Leigh Jackson have both been promoted to the position of senior reporter on weekly insurance trade title Post Magazine.

Former reporter Emily Beattie has now left accountancy magazine to work within the media team for the Prince of Wales’ Household. A replacement will be appointed in due course. In the meantime, editorial enquiries for accountancy magazine should be directed to the editor Sally Percy, or features editor Penny Sukhraj.

From 1 August Sue Copeman, editor of StrategicRISK, will relinquish her current role to be promoted to editor-in-chief. At the same time, associate editor Nathan Skinner will be promoted to editor. In her new role, Sue will continue to work closely with Nathan to extend the brand into new markets and regions. Nathan will assume editorial responsibility for StrategicRISK and its brand extensions including CaptiveRISK which was launched in July.
