Yesterday, Marc had his first flight in a helicopter. As part of supporting Bell Helicopter at the 2010 Farnborough Airshow, we were on hand to help with a media flight that had been lined up immediately after the show. At the controls was one of our favourite journalists, who shall nevertheless remain nameless, as she put the Bell 429 through its paces with such brio that newbie Marc found himself babbling away involuntarily from his seat in the back. Itβs never dull, this job.

Farnborough, England, (July 19, 2010) β The National Research Council Canada (NRC) and Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company, announced today that they have signed a 10-year research framework agreement to identify and undertake work of mutual interest in the research and development of technology solutions for the aerospace industry.
