Tom Broughton, editor-in-chief of Insurance Times and Global Reinsurance, will be leaving on 20 September to join United Business Media as brand director. Ellen Bennett, executive editor, has been promoted to editor-in-chief of both titles.

Former reporter Emily Beattie has now left accountancy magazine to work within the media team for the Prince of Wales’ Household. A replacement will be appointed in due course.
