Dominic O’Connell, deputy business editor of The Sunday Times, has been appointed business editor replacing John Waples who is leaving to join Financial Dynamics. Dominic is expected to take over in February but the exact date is to be confirmed.

Held a conference call with KDS to prepare for the company’s participation in the Business Travel and Meetings Show in London next month. As usual, a major focus will be announcing the results of the annual KDS/ACTE business travel survey – lots of data crunching coming our way. Also, fixing up an analyst briefing with IDC – great to have them focusing on KDS’s sector.
