Robin Searle, acting features editor at Travel Trade Gazette, has left and is starting at Travel Weekly as assistant editor in early December. Philippa Jacks is moving up from her position as deputy features editor to cover him. Also Chris Gray, former deputy news editor, has been promoted to the news editor.

Abigail Waraker has recently been appointed editor of Computing. Abigail takes charge of Computing print and online from 4th January 2010. Abigail was previously managing editor of Informa’s Intellectual Property portfolio where she had overall editorial responsibility for seven business publications and their accompanying website. Previously, Abigail was editor of Computing Which? for two years and also worked in various editorial roles at VNU Business Publications, Ziff-Davis, and ComputerWire. Until Abigail’s arrival, the editorial team will be led by freelance editor Andrew Charlesworth.

Follow our recent post regarding Kevin May leaving Travolution to launch Tnooz (www.tnooz.com),  Lee Hayhurst has now left his position as acting editor of Travel Trade Gazette and will be taking up the role of editor at Travolution in early December. Caroline Nodder is now interim editorial director at Travel Trade Gazette.
