Paris, France, 18 May 2009 – KDS, the European leader in on-demand Travel & Expense management systems, has launched a survey of business travellers around the world to determine the reasons for and benefits of business travel in the current economic climate.
Questions will address everything from travel policies and professional effectiveness to health and work/life balance, from the perspective of both personal preference and company guidelines.
In times of uncertainly, when the enforcement of travel policies and the scrutiny of expense reimbursement are becoming more rigorous, do companies clearly understand their employees’ expectations and practical needs? Will the measures taken by companies to control costs have a detrimental effect on the work of their employees? Can business travel continue to be justified on the grounds of the cost and time spent, particularly when increased stress levels and damage to health are taken into account?
