Sky gets Tweeting

If we needed further confirmation that Twitter has gone mainstream (still without any plan for monetising their business, incidentally) Sky News has appointed a dedicated Twitter correspondent.  Ruth Barnett, who is presently a multimedia producer, takes up her new position shortly to search through the Twittersphere for items that can be made into news stories by the rest of the Sky News team.  Ruth’s tweets can be followed at www.twitter.com/RuthBarnett.
