Marc Cornelius | founder/managing director
Marc has over 20 years’ international PR experience gained at leading agencies and in-house. He was formerly a country manager in the Middle East for a top global PR agency and worked in London for another global PR leader and a premier City PR firm. In-house, Marc was communications director for a Dubai-based telecom technology provider and corporate communications manager for a UK FTSE 100 company. He has specialised in aviation and travel for a decade, devising and overseeing successful international PR programmes and building 80:20 Communications into an acclaimed sector specialist. Marc has served as a PRCA Awards judge and is a member of the Aviation Club of the UK.

Peter Howatson | senior adviser
Peter has over 20 years’ senior financial and operational management experience, with extensive knowledge of the public relations industry. He was formerly group finance director for Shire Health Group, a healthcare PR and communications consultancy, where he helped manage the company’s integration with new parent company WPP plc. Previously, he was senior manager with Gardiner Caldwell, healthcare education consultancy. As part of the 80:20 Communications management team, Peter advises on business strategy and financial management controls.

Trudi Beggs | account director
Trudi has more than 15 years’ travel PR experience. Prior to joining 80:20 Communications, she was PR manager at Marketing Birmingham, responsible for the strategic promotion of the city to national and international media. Trudi was previously PR manager at national youth charity The Prince’s Trust, with particular responsibility for the Trust’s sports and music initiatives. She began her career at a top travel PR firm, where she worked for seven years, rising to senior account manager. Trudi’s client experience includes corporate travel management companies, airline data providers, airlines, tour operators, resorts and hotels.

Kate Beveridge | account director
Kate has over five years’ public relations experience and prior to joining 80:20 Communications was account director at a London agency where she specialised in B2B PR for a large drinks manufacturer and household spirits brands. Kate began her career on a retail graduate training programme working in stores and head office for four years before moving to a PR agency in 2012 where she worked with high-street retailers, household drinks and food brands and generic wine bodies.

Heather Mullon | senior account executive
Heather Mullon joined 80:20 Communications after roles in PR and digital marketing, both in South African and here in the UK.  She has experience writing and working across a variety of industries including health, sport, agriculture and hospitality. With a Bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Stellenbosch University, Heather has a love for strong, effective communication.

Susie Lunt | senior account executive
Susie has over 17 years’ experience in journalism and communications gained in the UK, Hong Kong and Czech Republic. She has contributed to and edited for outlets including the South China Morning Post, Thomson Reuters and the Prague Post. She has worked extensively in the travel sector, writing for titles including Business Traveller Asia Pacific, Asia Spa, The Independent Travellers’ Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore and the in-flight magazines of China Southern and Czech Airlines. Susie’s client experience includes Thomas Cook, British Airways, China Travel Service and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jordan Wood | account executive
Jordan has a background in generating and distributing quality written content and joined 80:20 Communications after roles in the digital marketing and publishing industries. He has experience writing and working across several sectors, including sport, technology and property. He is an English graduate from Plymouth University.
Catherine Anson | new business executive
Catherine began her career in the hospitality sector with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, working front-of-house in properties including the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London, and in Sheraton’s revenue management team. She also worked in the marketing function of property management group Jones Lang Lasalle and front-of-house in the headquarters of property marketing group Strutt & Parker. At 80:20 Communications, Catherine acts as our first point of contact with many companies, helping to expand our professional network and client group.
